Researchers from the Urban Institute are calling the mass influx of retiring baby boomers the senior tsunami because of the disastrous tidal wave that the number of seniors will have as an impact on our society. Note the top 20 U.S. cities their research has identified where projections place most of the baby boomers retiring and thus where more services will be needed. Raleigh-Cary, NC at 31.6%, Austin-Round Rock, TX at 30.1% and Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA at 29.8% lead the list.
