2014 Annual Caregiver Awards

We are proud to announce the recipients of our
2014 Annual Caregiver Awards

Presented at the May Employee Meetings

These employees are one of the reasons we are the best home care company in St. Louis!

Silver Star Caregiver: TRACIE E.
Tracie shines in her role as a caregiver and truly embodies the Continuum Service Theme of “Compassion, Accommodation, Reliability, Experience, and Safety.” Tracie regularly receives kudos from her clients, demonstrates a willingness to jump in and help Staffing, and always does so with a positive, can-do attitude and smile. To express what we have come to know and love about Tracie, here an excerpt of a letter sent to Continuum by a client’s daughter:

“My father is in a stage in his physical and mental health where he doesn’t like most people and doesn’t hesitate in acting out. Tracie had a perfect combination of being firm when he was being nasty and a great smile when he was calmer and her personality won him over. Dad always called her “his favorite.” When I would observe Tracie, she always worked hard, all the time talking to my Dad and actually bringing a smile to his face. Observing Tracie interact with other clients as she escorted them to lunch or just communicating with them only made me admire her more. She is also receptive to family members. She truly is a positive employee and a great representative of your company.”

CARES Award – Compassionate: PENNY B.
Penny goes above and beyond for her clients in many ways, such as her weekly emails to update staff on her clients’ well-being. She often suggests or implements ways to make her clients’ lives easier.

CARES Award – Accommodating: BETTY W.
Betty often rearranges her schedule or personal appointments to accommodate her clients’ needs.

CARES Award – Reliable: ZOE C.
Zoe is a dependable caregiver who is a favorite among many clients. Her work ethic is admirable: she has not called off for a shift in 2 years, and she always brings a caring, ready-to-help attitude to work.

CARES Award – Experience: CHRISTINA A.
Without a doubt, we can send Christina anywhere. She can handle care needs from companionship all the way to end of life. Her experience (9+ years with Continuum!) truly speaks for itself.

CARES Award – Safe: TRISHA D.
When observed on shift, Trisha is consistently in uniform (including her name badge and back brace), and she also calls after reading through the care plan with any questions about care or safety.

We appreciate all that you do, everyone! Thank you for always going above and beyond!
